5912 True-RMS Precision Kilovoltmeter
An improved version of the previous TRV-9940 with a microcontroller for enhanced precision (nominal 0.3% accuracy). It measures ac voltages up to 12kV rms. This instrument is portable, battery powered and the readout is given on a bright 4½ digit LED display.

ELSIE - Level Crossing Protection System (Type ELS-6007) |

There are currently some thousands of passive level crossings in Australia having no automatic means of indicating the approach of a train. Some of these crossings have such low volumes of road and/or rail traffic that further treatment is never likely to be economically viable. However, there are many situations where an improved level of protection is highly desirable, but the upgrading work is delayed or limited by financial constraints.
The ELS-6007 system has been developed in response to such needs. Although the system is directed specifically at crossings having low-medium traffic volumes, it is also suitable for enhancement to suit virtually any levels of utilisation on the road and rail corridors. Based on an intelligent mix of modern technology and proven safeworking principles, the system combines low installation and maintenance costs with very high levels of flexibility, integrity, and reliability.
The ELS-6007 control architecture makes specific provision for some of the likely future developments in railway operations in Australia, including in-cab signaling, GPS location of trains, and road traffic monitoring. Ongoing health-of-system information and other data can be conveyed to any central location, by any suitable communications channel, including the cellular mobile network. Where required, ELS 6007 is readily interfaced with existing signalling infrastructure – whether for trial purposes or for permanent installation.
